Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold, a philosophy that believes when something has suffered damage and has history, it makes it more beautiful.

Amalia Moreno, CEO of Amalia Moreno Academy in Spain, and vice president of the Spanish Association of Micropigmentation and Microblading, began her work in the world of Micropigmentation 20 years ago and since then she has been passionate about paramedical pigmentation and helping people through it to recover their well-being and self-esteem.

Kintsugi is the Japanese art form in which broken pottery is repaired with gold, signifying the beauty in overcoming adversity, and this is our main purpose in this technique of creating areolas after mastectomy.
